Terms of Service

1. What this is

The Throne operates a public leaderboard where a paid placement (a "listing") is ranked purely by the total amount paid for it: highest amount first, both overall and within its chosen category. There is no prize draw, no random outcome, and no element of chance: your position is determined entirely by the amount paid relative to other listings at the time you check. This is a fixed-price advertising/placement service, not a game of chance, lottery, or wagering product, and it is not intended to be, or to be marketed as, gambling.

2. Eligibility & acceptable content

You must be legally able to enter a binding contract to buy a listing. You must own or be authorised to promote the brand, product, or link you submit. Listings must not:

  • promote anything illegal in Australia or in the audience you're targeting;
  • contain fraud, scams, malware, or deceptive claims;
  • infringe someone else's trademark, copyright, or other rights;
  • contain adult content, hate speech, or content likely to cause serious harm;
  • link to a page that itself violates these rules.

We can remove a listing that breaches this policy at any time, including after payment, without a refund of the portion of value already delivered (see the Refund Policy for when a refund does apply).

3. How ranking works

Ranking is dynamic: anyone can be outranked at any time by a higher bid. The amount you pay buys a placement at whatever rank that amount earns at the moment it's processed. It does not buy a guaranteed duration at that rank, a guaranteed amount of traffic, or a guaranteed outcome. You can add funds to an existing listing at any time via your private management link to try to reclaim a higher rank.

4. Payments and gold pieces

Prices on this site are shown in gold pieces, a fixed, non-fluctuating unit defined for pricing purposes only: 1 gold piece = A$1 AUD, always, with no exchange rate and no conversion fee. You are charged in real US dollars via Stripe at that exact 1:1 rate; the amount your card is charged always equals the number of gold pieces shown, in Australian dollars (AUD).

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your card details. By paying, you agree this is a real-time purchase of a placement at the rank your amount achieves at that moment, not a reservation, a bid in an auction with a close date, or a subscription.

5. No guarantee of results

We don't guarantee clicks, visitors, conversions, or any business outcome from a listing. Testimonials or examples shown on the site are individual results, not typical results, and are not a promise of similar performance.

6. Third-party content disclaimer

Listings, taglines, descriptions, and links are supplied by advertisers, not verified or endorsed by The Throne. We are not responsible for the accuracy of third-party claims or the content of external sites you're redirected to.

7. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Throne is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the site. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
